Description
The Fruita Schoolhouse (sometimes called the Fruita Grade School) is a historic one-room school in Capitol Reef National Park, not Bryce Canyon (1st pic is mislabeled as "Bryce Canyon National Park - Schoolhouse") , built in 1896 by early settlers for teaching the "three Rs," community meetings, and church, serving the Fruita community until 1941 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
